Before that Jon worked for Andersen Consulting (now Accenture) as an Information Technology consultant then change management consultant and for BOC Gases as a chemical engineer.
With a BA in Psychology, an MBA and a Masters in Engineering he is also a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.
